Back at it

Summer has officially ended over here in Connecticut. The leaves are falling, the days are chilly, and it's dark by 6:30. Our September has been filled with school, dance, soccer, D&D, meetups with friends, harvesting the garden, watching football (go Pats!), and planning Halloween costumes. 

It's been a full and busy one. Which isn't bad, but still. BUSY.  

I can't believe that tomorrow is October 1st. We are headed into the end of the year, and that in itself is shocking. It's been a crazy, unexpected year, but a good one, so far. 

These photos show just a smattering of our busy month. We're still biking outside a lot, reading, making things with beads, drawing, grilling, and (always) adventuring. 

I am keeping this little check-in short today (a longer chat another time) since it's a Wednesday, and my feral children are starting to wake, and I can hear animals outside calling for breakfast.
