I miss the good old blogging days. I miss the daily blogs, the chats in the comments, the unedited pictures. While I love the instantness of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, there was just something about blogging that was...peaceful.

That said. I've been slacking in the blogging department. Single mom life has me busy, ya'll. Work, school, extracurriculars, and an active homeschool group make life insane. Throw in that it is all done by yours truly, and you've got one busy mama.

I am looking forward to June, when things slow down a bit. It looks as though this year we will be doing some schoolwork through the summer (math, reading, art, and history), but it will be very light. 

This month has already been filled with my baby boy turning FOUR, garden planting, lots of deep cleaning and decluttering, and this weekend, a trip to Massachusetts to visit the grandparents. And let us not forget the end-of-the-month Memorial Day picnic bash.
