Happy 2026

2026. We made our way through December, baking, crafting, and making homemade gifts. We drank hot chocolate and watched Christmas movies - the cheesy Hallmark ones and the classics.

We rang in the New Year with our traditional seafood dinner and a big bonfire.

We have (almost) made it through January, and so far, we've visited Ikea, had a GWL staycation for a couple of days, gone on a little weekend away in MA with the grandparents, baked a lot, and gotten busy with school again.

The best part of January, though, by FAR was welcoming a new little person into our family, with an adorable new little nephew, Beckett. He decided to make his arrival 5 weeks early (just missing Christmas by a smidge) and is the sweetest ever.

I feel like I've already lived 6 months into the year and it's not even February yet - I guess this is why I dislike January SO much. The longest, coldest month ever. Oh, and we got a snowstorm this past weekend, and there is SO much snow. And cold.

Okay. End rant.

Off to drink coffee.

Photos are in random order.
