Old Sturbridge Village. Redcoats and Rebels
I was impressed with not only how realistic they made it (even though my camera caught a close up of one guy drinking out of a plastic water bottle in the middle of guns firing and smoke) and the coordination exceptionally was impressive.
We had a wonderful day followed by celebrating brother Wesley's and son Wee G's birthday (they share a birthday on August 4th) on Sunday.
Now we are back home again. Things have been busy lately, and I'm telling myself that this is what Summer always feels like-super busy, and then it slows up once school starts and the days grow colder and shorter.
We've been taking lots long walks down to the playground, swimming every chance that we can, and the result is that the kiddos are turning brown are berries, and their hair is bleaching blond from the sun.
Piper Mae is sleeping, and Adri is having quiet time. I'm off to make some phone calls and drink another cup of coffee.
Happy Tuesday!
Good to see your blog post Rosie...have been missing you.
ReplyDeleteWishing you all a great end to the summer. Hard to believe fall is right around the corner.
