Autumn Apple Cake.
You will need:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups apple - peeled, cored, and chopped
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins or dates
To make:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour an 8x4-inch loaf pan.
Sift together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together the sugar, egg, and butter. Stir in the flour mixture just until combined, and fold in the apples, nuts, and raisins.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes in the preheated oven.
