Let it snow.
The last two weeks have been busy, since my return back to home and work. When not working, I've been staying warm, cooking good food, watching movies, painting, and reading a lot.
Things at work have slowed down a little bit, due to the cold weather-which is a welcome change, because it means I have less work to do outside, and can get caught up on more paper work and such.
Other than all that, life goes on at it's usual slow, unpredictable, and rather random rate. I am still getting used to the fact that it is now 2014. I think in some ways, although so much has happened in the past year, it feels as though there never really was a 2013. Maybe it's just true that the older you get, the shorter the years become. Either way, it is going to take me some amount of time to adjust to not only this new year, but also that we are halfway though the first month in it!
{a busy desk}.
{a new batch of Kombucha, brewing on the counter}.
{friends, over for the evening}.
{sunlight}.
Yes, this is winter in Vermont. A lovely, sunny 45-50 degree day, and the following morning waking up to a winter wonderland {every bit as beautiful, but still, rather shocking, to say the least}.
That is how it is sometimes in Missouri too!!! Say hello to your lovely Mama and Sweet brothers and Sisters for me!! Much love to you and yours from me and mine! Raquel XOxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoXO
ReplyDeleteThat's the same weather we are having in St Louis, MO! And it's very unusual for here.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Everything looks cozy and busy with goodness. Appreciate your space here Rosie.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way - time goes by so quickly!! By the way, I'd love a good simple recipe for Kombucha if you care to post it sometime.
