~ A Peasant-y Style Regency Jumper~
Made out of a silk blend, I love the drape of the fabric.
And the color too.
It has a lot of gathers, but they just make it all the more flowing.
Just right for those days you want to wear something a bit Regency, but not too much so.

Oh, I like it a lot!! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's beautiful! I love wearing dresses like that, but I've yet to learn how to make them..
ReplyDeleteYours is lovely! =)
Oooh nice! I had forgotten that dress... yours is lovely, the color is so pretty on you.
ReplyDeleteDid you make up the pattern yourself? I would love to hear how you made it. It would be a perfect addition to the wardrobe. [o=

Hi Mary, well, I did make the pattern myself, it is just basically a peasant dress top (without the sleeves), with a skirt attached...if that helps at all! :)

ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty! I too have been inspired of late to do some period drama style sewing. Just recently I did a post on an apron that was inspired by "Wives & Daughters". I love how your jumper turned out. Keep up the good work!
