Happy New Years Eve! (some random thoughts at the end of the year)

{my Instagram "best nine" = most liked photos of the year}

This past year has been a trip. I'm going to be honest. It's not been our best year. Yes, we got a lot accomplished, but it was a LOT of work.

2021 has seen some BIG changes in our family. We bought our first house, are expecting a new little one next year (YAY!), and Adam switched to a new (and much better) job.

I'm not a big one for New Years Resolutions. In fact, I set my bar very low this year and only had three "goals": learn to make sushi, get the Instagram story link feature (to be better able to share stuff with you guys), and buy a house. And yes, I DID ALL THOSE lol (I've found the trick to accomplishing things is to not have a very long list of things to cross off).

I haven't decided what my 3 goals will be this year (other than HAVE A BABY) so I'm still working on that. We'll have to see what they end up being...

Here's to a New Year. Maybe a better year? I'm not a big fan of change, so I'm not really looking for that.

I think I'm just looking forward to a year of settling in and being productive.

Maybe finally get around to fixing up the backyard and planting the gardens? Adding a few more shelves around the house? Definitely unpacking the rest of the book boxes.

Yup. That's the type of year I'm hoping to have.

Instagram and the blog world is a weird place. I mean, social media is in general. Thank you for joining me here in this little space and following along in our life.

Happy New to each one of you!

*Also, just for fun. Here are the top 5 most visited blog posts this year (I love seeing things like this and figure others do too)!
