lately
Happy March 1st! Are we really in March already? Spring is on it's way and I couldn't be happier!
It's been awhile since a "Life Lately" post and I thought a little update was in order.
We've been busy (no surprise there). The weather has been super nice this past week so I've been trying to take the girls out to play as much as possible. If it's one thing that they love it's being outside.
If you follow me on Instagram you'll have already seen that I've been doing Kendra's Five Day #justclean it Challenge (I'll have a blog post round up with more on that tomorrow) and it's been so wonderful. I've gotten rid of so much stuff, and everything is much cleaner around here. Just focusing on one space each day and doing a few things (some of them things I would never think of, like cleaning the coffee pot lol, has made a world difference.
I put away most of Adri's Christmas presents right after she opened them, and we've been slowly pulling them out for her to use. I would recommend that everyone do this. When things get boring, or we're having a tough day I just pull something new out and it's like Christmas all over again!
These two little stinkers are best of friends. Now that Piper is getting bigger and can interact more with Adri they've been having a blast. So many giggles and laughter.
Right behind all the lovely weather we've had this past week we are getting a Winter storm {tomorrow}. I was planning on going to MOPS, but after hearing about all the snow in the forecast have decided to stay home. I guess we will just have a lazy house-bound day instead, which is fine by me ;)
I'm off to make breakfast and take my munchkins for a little stroll.
Friday is almost here and we're pretty happy about that (as you can see above)!
Happy Thursday!
Mmmm, you are giving me an inspiration to start my spring cleaning! There are piles and piles of kids clothes to sort through! Yay :) :)
ReplyDeleteI've gotten rid of SO MANY clothes! lol. I finally decided to just throw out anything we hand't worn in over 6 months! It feel so good to clean thing out.

The pictures of your daughters are adorable! I love to visit your blog and see there sweet smiles. : ) I too live in NY and are prepared for the storm (as best as we can be).
ReplyDeleteSorry about my typo, *their* sweet smiles!
DeleteAww, thanks, Sarah! That's so neat that you live in NY too! We got a lot of snow over here (out by Syracuse) but I guess a bunch of places (like further North) got a lot more!
