Let's Talk Cocktails.
If mixed drinks are just not your thing please feel free to skip this post :)
One of my favorite things to do on a weekend afternoon is go into the kitchen and mix Adam and I up something fun to drink. As much as I love trying new stuff we also have a list of ones that we also seem to inevitably fall back on. I thought I'd share a few of our tried and true favorites here.
Okay. So here we go:
Berry Good:
Cranberry and apple juice, tequila, and a slice of lime (this is also really good with a slice of orange instead of the lime).
Whiskey and Coke:
Just what it says ;)
I'm really not a fan of dark liquor, but I am kinda fond of this.
Bloody Mary:
Vodka, tomato juice, splash of hot sauce, a teaspoon of horseradish, squeeze of lemon, salt and pepper.
Garnish with cheese, celery, and lemon slices and throw in a few ice cubes.
Gin and Tonic:
Tonic water, lemon, and gin. Make sure you add plenty of ice.
For The Crunchy.
Kombucha, splash of orange juice and a shot of vodka.
Yes, I know this might sound terrible, but I like it every once in a while--it's actually pretty good!
P.S
+I almost always add something citrusy to mine, like lemon or lime, but if you don't care for the taste of either it's good without it too.
+Everything is pretty much to taste. Also, you basically go with a shot of liquor for every drink.
and if there's one thing I've learned... this is how you make a baby, girlfriend!!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Good one, Jules ;)
