after the weekend: pictures and captions.

Reading the new Harry Potter book.
I loved it, however it did feel a bit short and predictable.
It was Harry Potter though and that's all that counts, right?

Grilling out.
I tried cooking (soaked) sweet corn on the grill for the first time and it worked really well.
So easy and delicious.
The corn was some that was grown right down the road from us. Yay for local food!

Summer on a plate.
To me this is one of those meals that sums up summer.  Give me some veggies and grilled meat any day of the week.

Morning sun and baby toys.
Adri's new little kitchen is one of my most favorite finds of all time.

Ladderball.
The library had a DIY class/project last week. It was make your own Ladderball game.
I made one for us.

You know you have a baby when...
...there are toys on the floor all the time. Literally all the time.

On our way home from church.
Sleeping baby.

Huge clouds.
We had rain on and off all weekend. It was good for the garden though as it had really been needing a soaking.

Now, it's Monday and I have lots to do. It seems that during the weekend the house turns into a complete and total bomb site. Probably because I pretty much stop cleaning it for two days ;)

Have a wonderful day!

    1. Kim, I think if you look on Pinterest there should be instructions. It's basically just PVC pipe spray painted and it's all cut to the right length and then attached together--super easy and fun!
