Packing A Summer Beach Bag.

Summer is here, and, despite the heat, I'm loving every minute of it! Right from the start I knew I'd need to have a designated "beach" bag. It's so handy to have all the the swimming stuff in one bag. I can just grab it when we head out the door, and I never need to worry that we are going to get somewhere, and find we are missing stuff. And I don't have it all taking up precious room in the diaper bag. 

I thought, since I love to see what others pack in their bags (library, purse, diaper, or otherwise), I'd share what I pack in our summer "beach" (seeing we don't have the beach here, it's really a "pond", or "river" bag, I guess) bag.

• Swim suits for everyone.
• Towels.
• Sunscreen.
• Toys for Adri to play with.
• A hat for Adri.
• Sunglasses.
• Little "swim" (what are those really called?) shoes for Adri's feet. In case we end up somewhere where the ground is sharp.
• Water. I only have Adri's sippy cup pictured, but I also have a water bottle for me.
• A book for me. I always throw in whatever I'm currently reading.
• Snacks (if they are not already packed in the diaper bag.
• I also toss in a couple cloth diapers, and pins, to put on her when she's swimming.

Ha. This is real life for you--I'm lucky if I get to snap more than one picture before Adri gets in on the action!
