:Five things from the past few days here in Wesleytown:
1. It has been very, very cold here.
2. We have been drinking lots of tea {the result of it being so cold}.
3. We have been baking and eating lots of chocolate chips cookies {the result of drinking so much tea}.
4. There has been lots of knitting going on.
5. There has also been lots of reading in front of the woodstove.
:Five good movies that are good for cold, snowy days: {not a long list but off the top of my head, five good ones}
1. Little Women {our favorite is the 1994 version}.
2. The Lord Of The Rings {any one of them~they are all three fantastic!}.
3. August Rush {one of my favorite movies}.
4. Monk {okay, not really one movie but really, for a cold snowy day, nothing gets better than Monk! {pick any episode and enjoy!}.
5. The Winslow Boy {we have loved watching this movie for years now and, sadly, it seems not that many people know about it}.
:Five good things to sip on a cold morning:
1. Hot tea {black or herb}, with lots of cream.
2. Hot lemon and honey.
3. Coffee~with lots of cream and sugar.
4. Hot chocolate-make it with lots of chocolate!
5. Warm milk with a bit of honey and fresh nutmeg grated over the top.
:Five good read alouds {some of our favorites}:
1. The Rise And Fall Of Mount Majestic.
2. Leave It To Psmith.
3. The Hobbit.
4. Alice In Wonderland {especially The Jabberwocky!}.
5. Anything Dr. Seuss.
:Five things that I've knit and sewn recently:
1. Scarf.
2. Wool hat.
3. Apron.
4. Wool bag.
5. Linen bag.
