A wonderful visit, with our dear friend, Raquel.
She came and stayed with us for a week, and and we enjoyed good food, talking, laughter, reading, rainy afternoons, library and shopping trips, watching all 6+ hours of Little Dorrit, and even fitted in a trip to the State Fair!
So much fun and a wonderful time...here are just some snap shots of the wonderful time we had!

Early morning breakfast.

Raquel, in the kitchen making a Slow Country Boil for us all...we had never had it, and it was *so* good!

A rainy Sunday afternoon....

....topped off by a lovely tea party, complete with Clotted Cream.

Celeisa really enjoyed!

Thank you for the pleasant visit through your eyes. Enjoyable as always.
    Much Love,

  2. It's all so beautiful, Rosie! Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your days here. Hugs from MN!

  3. It is so fun to enjoy a visit with friends!

Love the coziness of your home.

  4. So glad you weren't affected by the flooding and I love seeing pictures of your family and your house. As soon as I see on my rss feed that you have a new post, I go to it immediately.

I am now officially in the empty nest stage although my son only lives near campus... close enough he can still bring home his laundry. :)

Please give your mother a hug for me and send my affection.

  5. It looks lovely. Thank you so much for sharing.

  6. And what fun we had!!! Loving the pictures, missing you all so much. Much love and give everyone a big hug from me, especially Lima and your sweet Momma.Raquel - xoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxXOXOXOXO
