~:From our weekend...

Herbs, gathered for teas, dried, and then put into jars.
From left to right: catnip, raspberry leaf tea, and chamomile tea.

Beets from our neighbor's garden, that he kindly gave us.

Steaming them for dinner~the red, white, and yellow beets made such a lovely color!

Apples, waiting to be made into crisps and pies.

More sock knitting.

And the beginning of this baby blanket.

A new clay creation.

A sunny corner....

...and another.

Good books to read.

The little ladies' "t.v"....

Stan Lee, reading.

The little gals, creating.

Aimiaja, drawing.

Enjoying the pictures from this delightfully creative and lovely birthday party, here, and here.

Face painting fun starts...

*Two* happy clowns.

Joe joins in the fun!

Out of doors...

It is beginning to feel like Fall.
The leaves are starting to change, the weather is turning a bit cooler, and it is darker longer.

  1. Love to see what you are all up too!

    Lots to do around here....

  2. The beets look so lovely and I bet they tasted wonderful.

Thanks for sharing snippets of your days.

  3. Hi Rosie,
Your blog is such a blessing.
Do you all have a certain cleaning schedule and what are your favorite cleaners? I was just curious.
Thanks for all the great pictures and sharing your life with us.

  4. This post is so fun.
Love the home things, (jars of tea! I am drying our herbs this week for that) and the facepainting...too fun!
I miss those days...with kid things around our home.

    Always enjoy your blog! <3
Thanks for sharing a bit of your life with us on the blog world.

  5. I always love visiting you, even in the middle of very hectic periods. Be well.

  6. How lovely!

I have to admit that I had to laugh because I was working on a new pair of stockings as I was reading your blog. I still have difficulties typing and crocheting/knitting at the same time though.

  7. What a delight, these last two posts are Rosie! Thank you! Your blog is always a treat.

  8. Lovely to see what all is going on - as usual! How were the beets? I have never tried white ones - just the gold and red. I think a perfect name for the new addition would be Rodolfo! It is beginning to feel like fall here too. Some of the trees are starting to turn and I am thinking about making chili this weekend! Much, much, much love to you all - eat some olives for me, won't you? LOL Give everyone a big hug for me and I will write some letters soon. 9. Love, love, love that baby blanket! I have saved the pattern in my knitting folder! Just fantastic it is! Thank you for sharing it! :)

All your other photos are lovely, as well!
    Katy :)
