~:From our weekend...
Herbs, gathered for teas, dried, and then put into jars.
From left to right: catnip, raspberry leaf tea, and chamomile tea.
Beets from our neighbor's garden, that he kindly gave us.
Steaming them for dinner~the red, white, and yellow beets made such a lovely color!

Apples, waiting to be made into crisps and pies.
More sock knitting.
And the beginning of this baby blanket.

The beets look so lovely and I bet they tasted wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing snippets of your days.
Hi Rosie,
ReplyDeleteYour blog is such a blessing.
Do you all have a certain cleaning schedule and what are your favorite cleaners? I was just curious.
Thanks for all the great pictures and sharing your life with us.
Blessings,
Cathy
This post is so fun.
ReplyDeleteLove the home things, (jars of tea! I am drying our herbs this week for that) and the facepainting...too fun!
I miss those days...with kid things around our home.
Always enjoy your blog! <3
Thanks for sharing a bit of your life with us on the blog world.
I always love visiting you, even in the middle of very hectic periods. Be well.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I had to laugh because I was working on a new pair of stockings as I was reading your blog. I still have difficulties typing and crocheting/knitting at the same time though.
Blessings,

What a delight, these last two posts are Rosie! Thank you! Your blog is always a treat.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see what all is going on - as usual! How were the beets? I have never tried white ones - just the gold and red. I think a perfect name for the new addition would be Rodolfo! It is beginning to feel like fall here too. Some of the trees are starting to turn and I am thinking about making chili this weekend! Much, much, much love to you all - eat some olives for me, won't you? LOL Give everyone a big hug for me and I will write some letters soon. ReplyDeleteAll your other photos are lovely, as well!
Kindly,
Katy :)
