*~Pottery fair~*
A lovely town about twenty minutes away from our place had a pottery fair.
We took a picnic lunch and made a day of it.
There were many different artisans, and they had many of their creations for sale.
They also had pottery that you could glaze, and then they fired it for you while you waited...we all had to give that a try!
Aimaija, working on hers....
Josie trying her hand at it
We brought Wesley and Claire's little ones all along with us...
Miss Maggie.
Georgie, and his Auntie Sophia.
The kiln.
They said that it heated to about 700 hundred degrees.
Out of the kiln.
It turned out so pretty!
Pa and his grandson.
There was also a table set up, where the littles could all make things out of clay, to put in the sun the harden.
It was a wonderful day.
It sure looks like a wonderful day! Thank you for sharing!
