~Out-of-doors~
Picking greens beans, out in the garden with Georgie-he ate more than he picked!
Hurray!
Our apple trees are loaded, time to make apple sauce and apple butter!
~~
I have been reading Francis Chan's book, Crazy Love, recently, and have been so encouraged and blessed~ I just had to include here some excerpts from it!
~~
"The critical question for our generation-and for every generation- is this: If you could have heaven, with no sickness, and all the friends you ever had on earth, and all the food you ever liked, and all the leisure activities you ever enjoyed, and all the natural beauties you ever saw, all the physical pleasures you ever tasted, and no human conflict, or any natural disasters, could you be satisfied with heaven- if Christ was not there?"
"The fact is I need God to help me love God. And if I need His help to love Him, a perfect being, I definitely need His help to love other, fault-filled humans. Something mysterious, even supernatural must happen in order for God to grow in our hearts. The Holy Spirit has to move in our lives. It is a remarkable cycle: Our prayers for more love result in love, which naturally causes us to pray more, which result in more love...."
"True faith is loving a person after he has hurt you. True love makes you stand out."
"How would my life change is I actually thought of each person I came into contact with as Christ-the person driving painfully slow in front of me, the checker at the grocery store who seems more interested in chatting than ringing up my items, the member of my own family with whom I can't seem to have a conversation and get annoyed?"
"In reality, not one of us will ever be worthy. It is useless to attempt earning it; you will never feel ready. It is unknown and uncomfortable. But there really is a God who forgives and loves endlessly."

"Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!"
Romans 11:33
"And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD;
It shall rejoice in His salvation."
Psalm 35:9
It shall rejoice in His salvation."
Psalm 35:9
"But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord."
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord."
Jeremiah 9:24
"The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork."
Psalm 19:1
And the firmament shows His handiwork."
Psalm 19:1

"All God's giants have been weak men who did great things for God because they reackoned on God being with them."
"God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply."
"God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply."
