~::Snowy Weather::~
We have had some lovely snowy days here in Wesleytown, that we are enjoying by sledding, cookie making, tea drinking, bread baking, listening to Christmas music, reading and sewing......
Snow outside.
"Freeze, freeze thou bitter sky,
That does not bite so nigh
As benefits forgot:
Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
As a friend remembered not.
Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most freindship if feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly. "

Joe, knocking down a branch.
Stacks of good books inside.
Art.
Tea time!
Making a big pot of chicken soup.
Curled up reading.
And I leave you with Julia, playing the guitar.

I love your stack of books! It is the only stack I've seen larger than mine (on my coffee table). :)
ReplyDeleteWe had our first significant snowfall today. It was beautiful. Hugs to you lovely Mom.
Such cozy comfort!
ReplyDeleteSounds like lots of fun at your homestead!
How are the newlyweds?
Stay warm and cozy!
ReplyDeleteCold weather where I live is when it gets down to the 40's overnight. :-)
I grew up in snow country though and I do miss it sometimes--especially those fresh snow, sunshiny days when the snow looks like it's been dusted with glitter--lovely!
Snow!!! Looks like a lovely snowy time was had by all! We have not had any yet, just a few frisky flakes the other day. Much love to everyone. Raquel xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI loved making snow-men as a little girl, when we didn't live in Israel yet. I wonder if you do that too, it's great fun. Wish we had some snow here. Or at least a good bit of rain to make sure there won't be draught!!
ReplyDeleteAnd on the other side the world; hot summer days and snakes on the verandah. All is as it should be. :) Love the cosy winter photos.
