A Short Cut To Mushrooms....
....and picking mint for tea and gathering clover blossoms.
I could not decided what picture that I liked more, so I posted them both.
White and red clover, out by the greenhouse.
The hen came by to see what I was doing, and decided to stay for a little bit.
And then after I went wild mushroom hunting.
Wild Beefsteak mushrooms, that we harvested last year and cooked up with garlic and bacon and eggs for breakfast.

Note:
Always ask for help identifying mushrooms, there are poisonous ones that are VERY similar to the edible ones.
We have an Amish friend (Rudy) that knows a lot about mushrooms, and we always double check with him.
I think that we will cook these up with sausage and peppers for dinner.
This is the best book that I have found for identifying mushrooms.
It has some really good recipes too.
And I love the pictures.
