Bump Update: 25 Weeks

It's been way too long since a baby update on here! I can't believe that we are already almost out of the 2nd trimester and heading towards the big due date! Honestly, I think that spring babies are the very best and can't wait to head into summer with our new little pal.

So, here's a little update on how things are going with Baby lately!

{Don't forget to check out all my other bump updates (with Adri and Piper, here.}

How far along: 15 weeks (as of 1/28/2022)

Size of baby: about the size of a rutabaga. measuring 13 inches long.

Sleep: of course, my pregnancy insomnia is back and I'm awake at all hours of the night (insert eye roll). My belly has finally popped and it's also hard to find a comfy position now. Which is not helping at all in the sleep department.

Cravings: still no cravings, but there is a long list of things baby does NOT like. While I am feeling much, much better and the nausea is pretty much gone, there are still things that I simply cannot eat (looking at fish, salad, and basically all the veggies that I normally love to eat, other than potatoes).

Baby movement: this is one busy little one. It reminds me a lot of Piper. He's SO active and moves constantly. If he hears Adam or the girls talking he wakes right up and starts kicking. Honestly, if I didn't know better I'd think there were two babies in there, not one.

Gender: if you missed our announcement-IT'S A BOY! I kinda guessed it though, with how much sicker I've been this time around. I was not nearly this sick with the girls (which is saying a lot, because I was pretty sick with both of them).

Best moment this week: the best moment of every week is feeling this little one moving around. As uncomfortable as it is, it's still a reminder that he's growing and healthy, and I'm so happy for that.

  1. I could have guessed it was a boy by how low you're carrying him. When he drops later on, I have a feeling you're going to be mighty uncomfortable! Here's to an easy delivery and a good baby!
