Our week and weekend

Happy Monday! We had a whirlwind weekend over here and I can't believe that it's already passed! Adam has been working overtime, so that means not only has he been working earlier/later, but he's also working Saturdays. 

• Thursday we went on our weekly nature hike with some of the cousins.
• Friday morning we visited the other cousins and built a gingerbread train. Friday night we went to my brother's place for an Ugly Sweater Party.
• Saturday the kids and I braved a wild winter storm that we had here (it was POURING sleety rain) in order to get groceries (our fridge was SO empty).
• Sunday we just stayed home and spent the day relaxing.  

How's that for one thing after the other? 

Now, I'm ready to tackle this week, and next weekend we have the rest of our Christmas things to finish up (buy, wrap, and mail). I can't believe that the end of the year is almost here! After such a slow Spring and Summer, this Fall and Winter have flown by! Not that I'm complaining though...I'm MORE than ready for 2021!
