Adri Rose's Birthday Party

 

There is so much going on in the world right now, and honestly, I don't know what to say. Not because I don't have thoughts and opinions, but because I don't feel that anything that I have to offer would be of benefit or help to anyone, and I hate adding to the swirling noise and chaos that is already around us. Just know that I am aware of everything that has been happening (2020 seems to really have taken a blow this year) and we are watching, waiting, and hoping for the best for everyone. These are sad, sad times, and we pray that everyone remains safe during them. 

However, moving on to a happier time this past weekend, here are photos from our special little five year old's party (in case you missed seeing them on Facebook or Instagram). 

I have to admit, it was a little strange having a child's birthday party with only two kiddos (not all the family was there) but Adri had fun and that's what counts, right? 

We are having a slow week over here and I feel like today I'm finally getting off the ground. I woke early (5:30 am) to have some time before the kiddos get out of bed, and it's been lovely. Just me, some work, and my coffee.
