Adriana's Fourth Birthday

Last Saturday, we celebrated Adri Rose turning four years old. 

She was SO excited about her birthday and has been inviting people to her party and talking about it for months. Even though the party was only family, we had quite a few people, and I ended up renting to local play place here in town for it. I have never seen a more excited little child. I think it was basically a dream come true for her-all her favorite people gathered with her at her favorite place. 

And then we spent the rest of the week recovering from the festivities...

We are getting ready for a big event here in town this weekend. They celebrate local farmers, and there is a parade and lots of booths and exciting stuff going on. We've been looking forward to this since we planned on moving to the area, and we are going to walk downtown for the day tomorrow. 

This weekend we are also going to grab some more plants for our patio garden. The other day we got a few tomato plants, but we are also going to get some bigger ones (the ones we got are pretty small) and herbs and peppers. We have a nice big sunny driveway that is perfect for potted plants. 

Now, it's a lovely sunny morning here, and we are off for our morning walk and playground visit. Have a fantastic weekend!
