Piper Mae: Eight Months Old

Our beautiful little Piper Mae is now eight whole months old! She's a busy little bee and is growing like crazy. She just had three teeth pop through at the same time so that makes a grand total of SIX! Four on the top and two on the bottom.

At eight months old Piper can: 

+stand by herself.

+clap her hands.

+wave goodbye.

+cruise along furniture.

+climb. She can climb up onto the couch with the help of some pillows to stand on and is starting to climb the stairs.

+say "Dadda", "Mama", "Nurse" (nur-nur), and make all the weird baby sounds.

+smile, laugh, giggle.

+sit up by herself.

Piper loves:

+baby food. She's still nursing all the time but she also eats lots of fruits and veggies. 

+Adri Rose is her favorite person, with Daddy running a close second. Sadly I've been bumped to the bottom of the totem pole.

+riding in the carrier. She rides in the Ergo carrier each morning when I walk my three miles and she loves it. If she's ever fussy I pop her in the carrier and she's good to go.

+singing. She still loves music.

+bathtime is another all-time favorite. She bathes in tub with Adri and I also give her lots of sink baths.

Overall she's a happy, and for the most part easy-going baby (way more temperamental than Adri Rose was). She sleeps well, laughs a lot, and has some pretty wonderful little fat rolls.
