Devastated

  1. I read this on another blog this morning...hoping it was NOT correct. I am so very very sorry...there are no words that will ease your pain...and that you and your family have lost her while all of you were still so young!! (I was 48 when I lost my dear mom and I still feel that was just too young...and I know the huge hole she left and how hard it is and will be). You and your family have my prayers and empathy and sympathy too!! I am so glad you have each other and no doubt this will help you in this hard journey you have begun!! I will be glad to hear what happened if you want to share. I used to read her blog and felt so sad when she felt she had to shut it down. She was a very find woman!! Still is...just away for now. In my losses of loved ones, it is easier somewhat to think of them where they are now...knowing one day we shall all be together again...forever!! Take care of yourself too dear!!

  2. Rosie, I am so sorry for your loss. Know that your family is being wrapped in love during this difficult time- giving back to you all the love that your mother gave when she was here. I know that your hearts are breaking right now, but there will be sunshine again, twinkling rainbows through prisms - that will be your mom, just coming by for a visit and to say hello. Much love to all - Raquel

  4. Dear Rosie, I am so saddened to hear that you have lost your sweet mother. Jewels was one of the first bloggers I followed nearly 10 years ago. Her Eyes of Wonder blog was a beautiful place to visit purely for the wonderful family that lived in it. I marvelled at your large, wholesome family, your homeschool life, rambling outdoors and then the grandbabies started arriving. So beautiful.
I can imagine you are all bereft at this time, I know the feeling as I lost my dear, sweet elderly mother on Christmas Day just gone.
Please know I’m thinking of you all and I have lit a candle for Julie.
    Love Joolz xx 😥

  5. I am so very sorry. I loved reading her blog from way back at the beginning. She was always in my thoughts and prayers. I will be keeping you and your entire family in my prayers. I cannot see how to message you, but when you are able, could you please message me with more details? There is absolutely no rush.

  9. Just before coming over here to check on you, I've been browsing through some of the emails your Mama sent me over the years, and crying, while I listened to River Flows In You. It was through her that I was first introduced to Yiruma's music, and so many other lovely things. Nobody who knew her even a little bit will ever forget her. I will be praying, and I hope she, too, is praying for us all up there.

  14. Your sweet Mama, was a treasure. Seems strange that we never met in person, because I always felt her a dear friend. I'm praying for you all, keeping you all in my thoughts, too.

  17. Stopping by again to let you know that I still think of you all often...each day and am praying for comfort for you! We sang a beautiful song in Church Sunday...called "It is not death to die"...maybe look it up on youtube. It is beautiful and made me tear up and think of your mama! Sending love to you and yours!

  20. Dear dear Rosie, I am so sorry to hear this news about your Mama. I also soaked up her blog with delight and it was so obvious the love she had for you....and how contented she was as a mama of a large family, and a homemaker, and wife. Count me as another prayer warrior at this time for your wonderful family. May Jesus be so near that you can sense His love and peace in very real and tangible ways.
