lately

It's a snowy Saturday morning here. I'm drinking my coffee and editing photos while my two girlies are playing with toys, the washer is running because someone (cough cough) had an accident in bed last night (#pottytrainingdrama) and in a few minutes I have to go start the breakfast of sausage, eggs, and cinnamon buns that I promised Adri.

I feel like it's been far too long since I sat down and just talked about life. Things have been busy here. Life with two is no joke you guys. Honestly, I was not ready for how big of a change it is from one. You mothers with more than two (that are all small) I don't know how you do it.

These days life is filled with coffee, games, washing laundry, reading books, making food, shoveling snow, and staying warm.
I am pretty excited about some new companies I'm working with in the next couple months, and I can't wait until I can share more with you guys!
I'm putting together a new reading/book list and some of them are SO good.
If you are not aware I also have a link in my Instagram profile with an ongoing list of childrens books that I recommend.

We are taking things easy this weekend (meaning I'll make Adam do the bulk of the cooking ;)). I'm not going to lie, being snowed in is probably going to help a lot with that. I have this book that I'm reviewing, and I'm also starting to re-read the Harry Potter books. I also have a new knitting project that I'm working on.

I'm off to make some breakfast now. I hope you are all having a lovely, snowy Saturday. Stay warm, cozy, and drink lots of warm drinks.

Happy Weekend!

p.s if you are not in the cold just know that I'm jealous.

    1. Awww, thanks :) I think sometimes the snow is nice, just because it forces us to slow down and take things easy! It makes for a relaxing weekend.

    1. Brenda, I know! We were just talking last night about how much she's changed even since we moved here almost a year ago! They grow up way too fast.

  3. It's cold here in CO, but not as cold and snowy as it could be, so I'm thankful. Rosie, two is more work than I ever imagined, and my two are 10 years apart. I thought it would be a breeze, but it is busy, and despite one of the two being 12, he still has needs, and due to the age difference, they don't "play" together and entertain each other a lot. I didn't plan on two so far apart, but it was meant to be, because I honestly think I would have gone crazy with a newborn and a two year old. You are an inspiration to me!!!

    1. Oh, Jenny, thanks for your sweet words. I'm sure there are different challenges to having two that are fairly far apart since even though it is difficult with my two they also keep each other company and even with Piper so small they play together a lot.

You live in CO? That's so neat. I love it there and hope one day to visit! We talk about taking a trip that way all the time.

    1. Kimberley,
As much as a I hate the snow and cold I also love the changing seasons! The snow isn't all that bad, but I really don't like the lack of sunshine, and after a while it does get a bit depressing, but we make the best of it we can :)
