Christmas 2017

After a whirl-wind past few days of being super busy, celebrating Christmas, and then visiting Adam's family, we are finally back home.
We had a wonderful Christmas, but it sure is nice to finally be settling into our normal routine again, with lots of cleaning, de-cluttering (making way for new toys), and getting ready for the New Year.
Adam has off until next Tuesday, and we are enjoying having him home. Today he is getting started on brewing his own beer (my Christmas gift to him was a brew kit) and is puttering away in the kitchen.
We came home yesterday to tons of snow and it's still been falling rather steadily. We made a very quick trip to town this morning for some necessities, but are now settling in for the afternoon.

I ended up not pulling out my camera even once on Christmas Day, since sometimes it's nice to stay in the moment and not always have the camera out. However, I did take all the above photos while we were at Adam's parent's place, so those will have to do.

Happy Thursday, and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

  2. sounds like a pretty perfect Christmas. On the other side of the world, we are melting in the heat with February temperatures already. We finally had a decent rainfall today.
