Our Days

Listening: to Haley's Blue Castle podcast. SO good. If you love the Blue Castle book then this is a must-listen to.

Reading: Howl's Moving Castle. I love Hayao Miyazaki films and Howls Moving Castle is a favorite. I only realized recently that there's a book! btw, it's excellent.

Making: plans for Easter (is it really next week?). We are having Easter Dinner here again this year and I'm really looking forward to it.  The Saturday before my library is having their huge annual Easter Egg hunt and I'm taking Adri to it. If anyone else has good ideas for toddlers Easter related activities or crafts please share!

Watching: Does it count that I have The Girl On The Train to watch? I loved the book, which I read it when it came out, so when I heard about the movie I couldn't wait to watch it. Now I've had it a few days and have been too busy to watch it. I'm sure over the weekend I'll find time though.

Cooking: if you din't miss my menu post you'l see that we're having Chicken Pot Pie tonight. I currently have chicken cooking on the stove for it.

Parenting: other than a beautiful day on Monday (we spent most of it outside of course) it's pretty been rainy and wet. I've been racking my brain for toddler activities and so far we've found a few good ones (see here).

Around the house: just daily stuff. Work, cooking, cleaning, mountains of laundry, playing with my Wee One, etc.

In the garden: of course we on't have our garden planted yet. Hurry up warm weather! But our seedlings are growing so fast soon they'll be ready to harden off outside. Adam has all the raised beds set up and is planning a trip to go and get manure (only $2.00 a bag!) this weekend.

Planning: This Saturday I have work, and we have family dinner here on Sunday. But what we are most excited about is next week--we find out the baby's gender! Yup, next Tuesday we find out who our little baby is and we are so excited.

Have a wonderful weekend!
