Easter 2017

We had a wonderful Easter. Calm, quiet, and laid back. Just the way it should be.

Friday the little sisters came over and colored eggs. There are come new puppy additions to the family and Adri was obsessed with them. Actually, to be honest I think we are all. 

Saturday Adam and I spent the morning hiking. We walked about 10 miles and boy, was I tired out afterwards! It rained in the afternoon so we got a lot of cleaning done in the house. I had great plans to take Adri to the Easter egg hunt at the library but only remembered when we were about 5 miles in on our hike. Oh, well #momfail.

Sunday morning Adri had her own little egg hunt at home (she got really into it) and searched for her basket. Afterwards she ate more sugar in one morning than she's probably had in her entire life. She was talking a mile a minute. Around 11:00 am she finally crashed for her nap. 

In the afternoon my family came over and we had a great big ham dinner. I was so busy and caught up with visiting that I didn't take my camera out even once. So, no pictures :(  We all had a great time though.

Now it's Monday. I have a roast to cook for dinner, a house to clean, plants to water, work to do, and a baby to bathe.
