A Hike At The Falls. | Rosie's Ramblings

A Hike At The Falls.

Since we decided not to waste our entire Labor Day weekend feeling sick (see previous post for more details) Adam and I took off to The Falls for a hike yesterday. I guess everybody else decided to do the same, because the place was packed! It was fun though. We wandered all over, hiked down into the gorge to look up at the rushing water, and then hiked back up the (steep!) other side. I really don't know what I would do without my trusty Ergo baby carrier, it really is incredible-- I can carry a 25 lb. baby on my back and not feel the weight at all!

Is it just me, or does it seem crazy that we are already in the month of September? I'm still hanging tightly onto the last little bit of summer around here though. I'm really not at all ready for it to end. I've been soaking in all of these hot, sticky, muggy days: swimming, eating outside, hiking, gardening, sunshine, and even the bugs. All of it. Loving every single minute.

After that long weekend I have a whole lot of cleaning to do, plus packages and letters to mail out at the post office. Also, the sun is shining brightly so we're taking a walk for sure today.

    1. Lulu! You need to come live in NY then! lol I love the heat and hate the cold, and it's cold here most of the time AND we always get a ton of snow! Although we do kinda need some rain here--it's been kinda a while since we got some.

    1. Hi Rose!
Isn't that the best place to visit? We love it there. I think I've posted on the blog more than a few times about us going there! lol
Also, you live near me? That's awesome. If you ever want to meet in person (I love meeting fellow bloggers) for a walk and/or coffee, email me and let me know!
