Just a newsy post.

The sun is shining brightly, and it's the unheard of (for March in upstate New York) 70 degrees outside! Needless to say, first thing this morning we pulled out the trusty jogger and took a nice long five mile walk.
I have windows open and there is a warm breeze blowing through The Loft. It's so nice, it makes me wish for spring all the more now!
My little one is teething again. This time there are THREE new chompers coming through at once, poor midget. She is so big though. She woke up at 1:30 am crying, so we got up, took medicine and gum-o-mile, and watched Baby Einstein until she felt a bit better and was able to fall back to sleep (at 4;30 am!).
Dinner is in the crock-pot. Stew beef, cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas and corn, canned tomatoes, and chopped fresh mushrooms. When the meat is tender and cooked through, I serve it over noodles. Perfect for those days when you don't want to use the oven and heat the kitchen up, or if you are gone for the day, and want to come home to dinner already made ;)
My little one is sitting on my lap while I type (her usual perch) and wearing her "Milk Is Udderly Good For You" tee shirt. The shirt was one of the things that she got the day she was born, when the Dairy Princess came to visit her in the hospital (it was June, national dairy month, and she was the first baby born in our county in June. Thus the Dairy Princess visit). Anyway, I remember looking at the shirt and thinking, "that will never fit my tiny baby!". haha. it fits her fine now ;)

{The aforementioned shirt}

I've been looking around ThredUP, in hopes of finding a new dress to wear to our friend's Julie and Chad's wedding. I found a lovely long brown one, but it says it's used. And there were a couple others that I found, that seemed like they'd maybe work. So I guess I'll just keep looking. Anyone else love ThredUP? If you haven't tried it before, you should! Plus you get $10.00 off your first order!

For some reason I had to dig out all my Tasha Tudor books, and dvds the other day, just so I could watch and re-read them. Every so often that happens, and I'm really not sure why. Maybe it's the weather. Or it's that I'm ready for some gardening. And syruping--although at this rate the tapping will soon be over!

So now I'm off, for cuddles, and maybe (hopefully) a nap.

From yesterday. snuggling with her youngest auntie.

Heading out for our walk.

Adri loves to read so much (making this mama SO happy!). She'll pull them off her book shelf, spread them around her and start reading. Also, she manages to almost always have them right side up, which is kinda amazing to me.
