Sunday morning.

I'm spending my early Sunday morning curled up on the couch, while my man and the Wee One sleep. I have my Bible, sunlight, coffee, and Bach playing the background.

Later I'll head next door and have (more) morning coffee with Julia (she lives in the same apartment building as we do-lucky me!). I have some plans for house cleaning, trimming plants that are going wild, french toast for breakfast, and my morning walk. We might take a walk at the Nature Center in the next town over as well, seeing how Posie loves to ride around in the Ergo, and we love to hike.

But for now, everything is such a lovely peace and quiet, and I'm enjoying it.  :)

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”—“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”—In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”—Our sufficiency is from God.
“Lead us not into temptation.”—I know, O Lord, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.—My times are in your hand."

  2. Okay, so long introduction: I was sweetly directed to your momma's blog a few years ago by another dear blogger. I fell in love with your family, but because we don't know each other, I often feel like a stalker. :-) Your mom's blog was no longer being updated when I first started reading and gazing upon the beautiful home and family gatherings she shared. Then, the same blogger that introduced me to your mom's introduced me to your blog. Of course, I don't know you, but I will say that I so enjoy gazing at your blog and reading your lovely tid-bits, now and then. I started a blog a few years ago and I have posted twice. I have been encouraged by others to continue, but...time. I don't even have time to catch up on my favorite blogs, so I steal moments, here and there.
So, thank you for sharing, and your Posie is beautiful!!! So very precious!
God bless you and your sweet little family.
Oh, and your pics of your delicious looking meals have inspired a meal or two in our home. On tonight's menu: leek and bacon quiche! :-)
    In Grace,
    Michelle

  4. Dearest Rosie, such a nice Sunday morning.
Can't wait to see you and our little love, Posie, early tomorrow.
Thank-you, again, Rose, for being you, for giving so freely to others in doing all-the-many kind and thoughtful, caring things that you do. Thank-you for being such a loving best friend. And thank-you for sharing your lovely life and your heart here with us. Tenderly, Mama
