:There And Back Again:

“In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit.”
~~~~~
Last night Wesley, Claire, Stan Lee, Julia, Joe and I went to see The Hobbit.
It was beautiful, as every bit well done as The Lord Of The Rings, and it followed {for the most part} surprisingly close to each of the adventures in the book~just with a bit more embellishment.
The acting was excellent as well, it was so nice to see each of the same actors returning to play their part.
:::
“Then something Tookish woke up inside him, and he wished to go and see the great mountains, and hear the pine-trees and the waterfalls, and explore the caves, and wear a sword instead of a walking-stick.”
Without a doubt though, my favorite part was at Bag End.
All the coziness, food, mugs, wood, round doors, muted colors, big arm chairs and warm fires.
It was the nicest, homiest dwelling place and I am quite sure that I would not mind living in a house just like that.
“Where did you go to, if I may ask?' said Thorin to Gandalf as they rode along.
To look ahead,' said he.
And what brought you back in the nick of time?'
Looking behind,' said he.”
:::
All in all, I think it was wonderful tribute to J.R.R. Tolkien's masterpiece.
Now we just have to wait for Part 2!
