:blog notes: 12:11:2012:

:Today:

Outside my window: There is a light layer of snow one the ground~the results of last night's snow fall.

I am thinking: Maybe we are going to have a white Christmas after all!

In the kitchen: Nichoai and I cooked up one of our pumpkins last night, and made a gluten free pumpkin cheesecake~we are planning on enjoying it this afternoon, maybe with some hot tea....

{chili, topped with salsa, sour cream, green onions and cheese}

I am wearing: A long, black knit skirt that I made and a big cozy sweater.

I am creating: Lots of Christmas projects~ my craft table is piled high with projects that have over flowed all around my room.

I am going: To be braving the cold and snow and heading out to work in a bit.

I am happy: That I found these lovely china plates at the thrift store.

I am reading: Among many things, this good quote. "The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea."

I am looking forward to:  Going to opening night of The Hobbit on Thursday night~the countdown is beginning...

I am hearing: The Josh Groban Holiday station playing on Pandora.

Around the house: The washer is humming, the fire is crackling and the Christmas lights are twinkling.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Work, shopping, Church and visiting with the family.

Below: are pictures from last Saturday's Christmas Party {for the littles only}:

  1. I love the flowery china. Pumpkin cheesecake sounds lovely. I am planning on making a pumpkin pie as soon as all the Christmas baking for presents is done.
