Visiting, and such...

We had a wonderful Easter, and are now enjoying a visit with Autumn.
Sadly, we have been too busy to take many pictures, so, there are just a few from our visit, so far~~hopefully we manage to fit time in to take some more!

Below are a couple good links that I just had to share...

::How I came to eat my words and love the Kindle {I never thought that I would really *use* a Kindle, but now, like Brenda, I am a convert~I *love* mine! }

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8

Some photos, from our Easter dinner....

  1. Your dinner looks very much like our dinner; deviled eggs and all! It looks like you all are enjoying a nice visit!

  3. What a lovely table, thanks for these glimpses of your days. I agree with you and Brenda; wasn't sure about a Kindle but really glad now that I took the plunge. My love for a book in my hand will always remain, but my Kindle Fire is great for traveling. (plus I pack a book or two!)

  6. I LOVE my Kindle touch. It took me a long time to decide I wanted one, but it has been so wonderful. I have downloaded many free Christian fiction books (old ones, for both adults and children) by authors who were not afraid to share the gospel freely in their writings. :)

  7. Dinner looks lovely. I wish we could go walking in sweaters but it is too warm here. We have not much cool spring (or winter) this year.

  10. I have had a life-long love affair with books. I love walking into a used bookstore... touching, smelling, viewing... I was "never" going to buy a kindle ;-) Then a friend bought one and told me about all the free books. I like free! I have had my kindle since Christmas and enjoy it thoroughly. I have recently discovered Elsie Dinsmore =D

  13. Sue, thank-you!

"they call me mommy", you are so right! :)

Susan, yes, there is nothing that can compare with a good book in your hand, but the Kindle is so nice for traveling-plus, there are so many great free books! :)

    Thank-you, Gail :)

Rose, you would probably really like the Kindle, you can also put ebooks, and articles and things on it, which is nice too.

    Deanna-we did! :)

Courtney, it is really nice how there are many great free books that you can find, isn't it?

elizabeyta, I wish I could say we had weather like that! After all the nice weather we had, it is snowing here again! :(

    Thanks, Rosemary!

    Cathy, thank-you :)

Lisa, I thought the same thing, but I have found that there is a place for the Kindle, even though it can never take the place of a book in my hand! :)

Anna, we did have a wonderful time!

Jodi, I passed along the hello, and she sent back a hug :) oxoxo
