Words from Hudson Taylor.

~Celeisa, on a walk to The Fossil pit~

‎"The sweetest part ... is the rest which full identification with Christ brings. I am no longer anxious about anything, as I realize this; for He, I know, is able to carry out His will, and His will is mine. It makes no matter where He places me, or how. That is rather for Him to consider than for me; for in the easiest position He must give me His grace, and in the most difficult His grace is sufficient.

‎So, if God should place me in serious perplexity, must He not give me much guidance; in positions of great difficulty, much grace; in circumstances of great pressure and trials, much strength? No fear that His resources will prove unequal to the emergency! And His resources are mine, for He is mine, and is with me and dwells in me."

  1. Oh, how I needed to hear this today! We have stepped out in faith and as of last Friday I am a stay-at-home mom to our 6 littles. I must confess some anxiety, as the money numbers do not looks as favorable as they did before (that's a bit of an understatement ;)), so I'm really needing to focus on trusting God with our finances. I KNOW this is what is best for our family, so He will provide for us as we follow Him!

  3. Love this picture! This is so true, He gives us such strength. I am so grateful for His grace and mercy. I have been under a LOT of pressure over the last two months or so, but His grace is indeed sufficient and He supplies me daily with strength. Much love to everyone!
