::Winter In Wesleytown::

"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."

Winter Days.....

...lots of snow...

...cold days...

...some sledding....

...and once in awhile the sun comes through the clouds...

...the greenhouse is quiet...

...and Stan Lee cuts lots of wood for the wood stove.

"Snow is falling
From the sky above
Snow is falling
Put on scarf and glove..."

  1. Beautiful photos. :)
It's quite cold here, in Western PA as well. :)

I hope you all are enjoying you January! We had a spell with the stomach bug that really threw us all for a loop last week...but things are finally getting back to normal! *And* my sister and her husband are expecting her first child at the end of this month...although we are hoping sooner! So this is definitely a month of memories for us..but each and every day is full of beautiful memories, isn't it? :o)

Warm wishes to you! I hope you have a fantastic end to the week!

  4. We have snow here too, but not as much as you do! We have had a bit of a warm up to the 40's so our snow is melting also.

I just love to see ordinary days, the family growing up, and the beauty of living in harmony together.

    Thanks, Rosie.

  5. Always so delightful to see a new post from you Rosy. Say hello to your Mum, we sure do miss her. Bright sunny day here on the south coast of Australia. As I look out the cows from the dairy next door are making their way up the hill to their afternoon milking.

    Thanks for your lovely blog.

    Blessings Gail
