Photos of The Farm.

A fall day, walking around the farm, there are so many things to photograph.

Spreading leaves in the garden.

Out in the greenhouse, and the wood stove that James made.

My happy kitty, Cosette.

Our goose, who lays so many eggs each spring, is the "guardian" of the barnyard, resident weed eater, and one of our friendliest animals.

Bella, the goat.

  4. Hi Rosie, I'm not quite sure how I stumbled on to your blog, but it's been such a treat. Nice to know there are 'kindred spirits' (as Anne with an 'e' would say) in this world. Autumn always manages to take my breath away and steal my heart. Have you read the poem 'Seasons of Mists' by John Keats...it's beautiful.

What I want to know is how you managed to find a friendly goose? Is that good luck or good parenting? :)

  8. Lovin' all the animals. Cosette looks so sweet! You must have special geese, my grandma's geese were always so mean. That ol' gander would come up and pinch the back of your legs. When grandma wasn't looking, we would kick him winding. Much love to you and yours - Raquel xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxXO
