~Home days.......

"O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.
Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people".
::Psalm 96::

Things have been a bit quieter, now that the wedding and all the preparations for it are over.

Tore, Anita and Sophie left to go back home to Norway on Tuesday, the happy couple are setting right in in their cabin on the hill, and we are back to everyday busy-ness, with school, chores, wood cutting, and farm happenings.

In the fall there is nothing like raking leaves, and then jumping in the piles!

Best of pals, Sophie and Julia, singing together.

Anita, reading.

Tore, reading.

Everyone putting a puzzle that was a gift from Mor Mor ( Abbie's sweet grandmother ).

Almost done!

Mother and daughter.

A lovely woman, inside and out.

Nicholai, reading.

Sophie.

The little ladies playing on the tire swing.

Holding my nephew.

Claire, opening a gift that Mor Mor brought for her.

Julia making cookies ( for ice cream sandwiches ), with the littles.

" Do you want to crack the egg?"

Maggie gives it a try.

And Celeisa and Josie look on.
Many thanks to Mama, for most of these great pictures, that she let me swipe from her :)

  1. Love the busyness of everyday life...I bet you miss Abbie's family...

I love to see the nieces and aunties playing together, very sweet. That little nephew has huge dimples, doesn't he? Darling...

I trust you are all well, give your Mama my best wishes and tell her I miss her posts...they were so encouraging to me, to hear from a like minded "friend."

  5. It's nice to peer at your world through your mama's eyes of wonder. I would say based on your past posts and pictures that you share her view of the world around you. Lovely to see everyone so comfortably enjoying fellowship with one another ... truly two families joined through matrimony - such a blessing.
