More Summer things. And planning for Fall

Hey guys! happy FRIDAY! We made it to the weekend, and I'm READY for it!

We've been having busy Summer days over here. The weeks fly by, and the weekend even faster. What's even wilder is that we are swiftly heading towards Piper's FOURTH birthday! 

I ordered Adri's curriculum the other day and buying school books always somehow makes the school year instantly that much closer. Like, WHAT??!! This year I have a 1st grader and a pre-schooler!

We've been taking advantage of Connecticut's Summer at the Museum (free admission for CT children + their parents) and we have been visiting some local museums. Last weekend we visited The Pequot Museum, (see all the photos), and yesterday I took the kiddos to Mystic Seaport Museum (they loved it!). 

Tonight is pizza night and movie night (we are watching a Decendents movie), but first I'm braving the world of IKEA (solo with two kiddos) to get some new bookshelves for the living room. We are trying to wrap up some very last house stuff that I've been putting off until now. 

Otherwise, we have a fairly quiet weekend planned. We might visit the fair on Saturday (depending on Adam's work schedule) or take an afternoon trip to the beach for a swim since it's supposed to be SO hot.
