Happy Birthday, Adri Rose {a letter for the archives}

Five years ago, on this day, my life was forever changed. Dearest Adri Rose. My firstborn. My sweet, spunky, sassy, smart, creative little soul.

I can't believe that you are already FIVE years old. Where has the time gone? You are turning into such an incredible person.

You are funny and smart. You love to learn, and are already reading! You love to make things (I can't keep up with all your crafting) and you are a fantastic big sister.

You love animals and take really good care of all your many pets. You love to pick flowers, and are already a wonderful little photographer!

You love playing dress-up, dinosaurs, and veterinarian. You love to swim, but hate cold water.

You are full of big ideas, and plans, You love to all about space, and how the human body works. You, love to explore and go on adventures, and you are always packing up your backpack for some big adventure with your sister.

You are a beautiful person. Inside and outside. You have a shining little smile and a massive stubborn streak.

I can't wait to continue to watch as you grow up. Just don't do it too fast.
