after the weekend: pumpkins, puppies and playdates.

Happy Monday!

First of all I wanted to say thank-you for all your questions and answers on my last post. I'm so grateful for the feedback and will be answering your questions at some point in the comments, so stay tuned :)

What a weekend! I thought because of the rain it might be a kinda quiet one, but nope, I was pretty wrong.

Saturday morning my friend brought over her two little girls to play with Adri. Her little ones are ten and twenty-two months old meaning Adri is right between them in age. That's three little girls eating cheerios and crackers, drinking milk, fighting over baby dolls, and tearing apart the living room. They all had a blast!

On Sunday it was windy and cold out but not raining. We bundled up and went to the pumpkin farm. A few donuts,  cups of cider (hard and sweet), big wedge of aged cheddar, trip to the corn maze, and a ride on the cow train (for Adri) later we headed home. Later in the afternoon we carved pumpkins, ate chicken soup, and got all caught up on Westworld (soooo good, if you haven't been watching it you're missing out).

Oh, and right in the middle of all this one little sister got a long-wanted-and-hoped-for puppy, and the other one turned thirteen (we are celebrating her birthday next weekend).

See? So much for that quiet weekend!

Now it's Monday. There's a house to clean, plants to water, hummus to make, dinner to plan, a baby to cuddle.

What are your plans for the day?

  2. I remember that 'crown' from old blog days! How fun that Adri has it now. I cannot believe that Amaija is 13! What! How does that happen? Sigh....

What a fun day getting pumpkins!

    1. Hahaha, yes it is the old one! I found it at my mom and dad's awhile back and knew Adri would love it (I was right)!
I know. The little girls are no longer little. How crazy is that?
