our weekend, in pictures.

Cold drinks, happy plants, hot days.

Saturday morning. Watching Ponyo. Forever and always a favorite.

Lazy kitty. Busy desk.

Messy baby. Who knew those one year olds could tear a room apart in 15 minutes flat?

Second birthday party (lucky little girl!). We celebrated Adri's birthday Saturday afternoon with my family.

She started looking all nervous when we sang happy birthday to her.

She sure liked the cake and strawberries though!

Opening her presents.

That face. Really, it's too cute. Also, she LOVES cards, and reads them like books.

With the weather being so warm, we've basically just been eating big salads every night for dinner.

Sunday dinner up in Wesleytown. Mama's heavenly b.b.q chicken, salt potatoes, and brussels sprouts.

And that's our weekend! Not pictured is watering the gardens, making banana bread (I used this recipe), a trip to the grocery store, and watching lots of Supernatural.

So now it's Monday again. I have plants to water, a house to clean, a trip to make to the post office, and a walk to take. Plus work later, tonight.

Have a wonderful day!

    1. Deanna, yes, she is. It's one of my favorite things about being a part of a large family--so many people to love the littles!
