:Date A Girl Who Reads: really good....

Two excellent posts, from Caleb.

:What a Christian guy is, (and isn't) looking for in a girl:

:Mysterious Like That:

Truth:
"But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart."
{
1 Samuel 16:7}

"I will not try to convince you of anything about God. I cannot. You must know Him. I only tell you I believe in Him with all my heart. You must ask Him to explain Himself to you, and not take it for granted that He has done you a wrong because He has done what you do not like. Whether you seek Him or not, He will do you justice. But He cannot explain Himself unless you seek Him."
~ George MacDonald

And, lastly {but not least!}, a short little poem/film.

  1. First of all, I love that photo of you and your sister on the beach in your last post! :D (hows that for a run on?) I really also loved poking around the Journey Mama blog...she is SUCH an interesting writer! It makes me want to run out and buy a journal... Love the Mac Donald quote, I jotted it down and the poem/film is sweet!! I've recently been listening to this gal and I thought you might appreciate it too! :)

  2. Loved the "Date a Girl Who Reads" post so much I had to share it on Facebook.

    My daughter and I have talked so much about how reading brings a family together and provides a family with their own vocabulary (reading and stories told in film).
