~*The World Of Home*~

"I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see."
John Burroughs

Our Easter egg tree... ~
We had a wonderful Easter.
Tore and Anita came to visit from Norway, along with Abbie's sister, Sophie, her brother, Per, and Per's girlfriend, Katja.
We had a wonderful time with them all.
The sad news is-believe it or not- we did not take out the camera once to take pictures! I guess we were having too much fun visiting...
But, however we do have a lot of photos, from just around the homestead, and here they are...

Sophia's new hair cut!

A real little artist.

Making playdough.

The little gal's drawings...

Don't you lose heart, Pole," said Puddleglum.
"I'm coming, sure and certain. I'm not going to lose an opportunity like this. It will do me good. They all say - I mean, the other wiggles all say - that I'm too flightly; don't take life seriously enough. If they've said it once, they've said it a thousand times. 'Puddleglum,' they've said, 'you're altogether too full of bobance and bounce and high spirits. You've got to learn that life isn't all fricasseed frogs and eel pie.'..."
::The Silver Chair

Art on the fridge.

A very helpful (and good), dishwasher...

A mug of steaming tea.

The start of homemade egg rolls.

Wrapping them.

Matt, contemplating eating them all.

Onion Art.

Our last hen is laying again!

Pottery art.

Kitty, resting atop a book pile.

Julia, ironing.

The seamstress...

Lovely piles.

Hmmm, Julia, acting strange?

Joseph, working.

Shoe art.

Joe's art.

Curtain Art.

Candle art.

Playing my guitar.

And I'll leave you, with Celeisa and her kitty, Tip.

  7. Love Sophia's new 'do. Two of my big girls are about to have their waist-length hair cut for Locks of Love. Do you donate as well, or does your mama save it in a ziploc bag, or...?

Little C. is so sweet with her kitty. :)
