Thanksgiving 2021

Another year, another Thanksgiving. This year we had beautiful 50-degree weather and it was lovely. We had almost 30 people,  two turkeys (one deep-fried and one roasted), a ham, and more sides than we could eat. It was a lovely day spent hanging out with family, and we ended it at home, with Thanksgiving episodes of Friends and dessert.

Adam has off work today (Friday) so I went grocery shopping and now we are taking the day easy: Christmas movies, pizza for lunch, a little decorating, and some organizing and decluttering.

Tomorrow we celebrating a little friend's birthday at a trampoline park (the girls are excited) and Sunday we are getting our tree and decorating the entire house for Christmas!

Now that we are done with Thanksgiving we are in full-on Christmas mode over here: lights, music, movies, and all the hot chocolate. Our elves (we have three) always come back on December 1st, so the kiddos can't wait until Wednesday.

I hope each one of you had a lovely Thanksgiving (if you celebrate) and if not, just a lovely ordinary Thursday.

Happy Friday and three cheers for the weekend!
