wherein my baby got a tooth, we bought a jeep, and more snow came

What a week it's been! A lot of things going on and it's not even Friday yet! Side note: I spent all yesterday thinking it was Friday. Imagine my disappointment on finding out it was not. Sigh.

First things first: This little cutie got her first tooth! It's in the bottom front and just popping through. She's feeling much better now that it's appeared and seems much happier. Teething is no joke, poor thing.

Second: we have new (to us) jeep! It's getting dropped off today. Super exciting since it has low miles and 4-wheel drive. In the past six months alone we've had three accidents with the car (one involved hitting a deer, but two were sliding on ice), and we have decided that if we're living out here in no-man's land we need something that's good in the snow.

Three: we are getting more snow! It's a Winter Wonderland out there. Pretty, yes, but I'm ready for Spring, and it's only 12 days away (according to the calendar that is)!
Adri and I have been talking about gardens lately, and planting so I just ordered this. Soooo cute, and it's only $16.00! And if you have Prime you get the free shipping! Adri can't wait until it arrives (tomorrow), and keeps talking about her "Fairy Garden".

Here's to hoping you have a wonderful Thursday!

  1. We have a Tahoe with four wheel drive, and my daughter has a Subaru with all wheel drive. Winter driving is no joke sometimes!

    1. We didn't have that much trouble when we lived in town, but way out here we've had SO much trouble this Winter. WE crashed the car THREE times in about 4 months! We've decided we need to stick to the 4-wheel drive stuff from this point on.

  2. The first tooth!! How exciting, and it is so sweet to see that bit of white. I'm so glad you have a good vehicle for snow driving. It makes such a difference!
