When God Made Light {book review}

A wonderful, whimsical approach to teaching children about God's creation of light. This book is easy to read, and for little children to follow along with it's lyrical verses and colorful characters.

We received the book in the mail the other other day and Adri and I have already read it a few times through. She's even been reading it on her own as well.

This is perfect naptime or bedtime read. The story is simply written, but has deep truth. The beautiful illustrations make it delightful for not only children, but adults to read as well.

"And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light." Genisis 1:3

"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12

This is also a companion book to When God Made You, and I have that one on it's way to add to our home library. If it's anything like this one I'm sure it'll be a favorite as well!
