33 Weeks

Seven weeks left! You can bet that I'm counting the days down at this point. I still have to unpack all the baby clothes and pick out the newborn stuff (and set aside the bigger stuff for later).

I've now hit the that wonderful super-pregnant stage that comes with the third trimester. Swollen hands and feet, constantly wanting to eat, super uncomfortable, and all that good stuff ;) At least, looking on the bright side, that means that the end is drawing near.

How far along: 33 weeks.

Size of baby: baby is about 16 inches long and weighs between 5-6 lbs. fruit size she's about the size of a pineapple.

Sleep: I'm really not getting much sleep these days (darn pregnancy insomnia). I got to bed late, wake around 3am, stay awake for a few hours and finally fall asleep again until Adriana wakes.

Cravings: just food, all the time. I still get nauseous from certain stuff every once in a wile, so I do still have to pay attention to what I'm eating so I don't get sick.

Clothing: I'm now down to just a few outfits. Next week I'm taking Adri and going to New England to visit sister Julia for a few days, and while down there I think I might buy a few new maternity clothes.

Baby movement: this baby is one active child. She moves all the time. and her kicks-ouch, they hurt! I have a feeling that once she's out she'll never stop moving.

Best moment this week: at my doctor appointment, hearing our little Bump's heartbeat.

Our plans for the weekend aren't much. Work for me tomorrow, a dump run, and while I'm at work Adam and Adri are going to the library book sale (at the library where I work).

It's been super hot and muggy lately. We've had a lot of rain this past week and all the rivers and steams around here are flooded. So we've been kinda sticking to inside activities.

Today I'm planning on getting some cleaning done upstairs, folding the mountain of laundry that I've been putting off, and maybe getting around to sorting through those baby clothes (seven weeks is going to fly by!).

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. What a blessing to be able to use adris clothes. I hope you can get some rest. I'm sure they'll be best of friends! Christina
