Summer Bucket List 2017

Summer is finally here! Our days are longer and (for the most part) hot. Despite the fact that I'm 30 weeks pregnant I'm still loving the warm sunshine.

Every so often I start wishing I was one of those "type-A" moms. Those ultra organized ones with the long lists, dinner menus for the entire week, and a set shopping day. It's just so NOT me. It sounds so great and then I try to actually do it, and things end up never going as planned. Maybe at this point I should just give up and admit that as much as a I love routine, I'll never be that ducks-in-a-row.

Sigh.

Okay, where were we? Oh, yeah, the bucket list. This is about as close as I come to making plans, and even these plans are going to change I'm sure. But for now, here's our summer bucket list.

+lots of picnics.

+go swimming-a lot.

+a weekend trip to New England at some point.

+zoo trip or the Farmer's Museum.

+have a yard sale (it was on the Spring Bucket List but we never got around to it).

+get out all the baby clothes to sort a wash. Only a couple months left until the newest family member arrives!

+try out some new crafts with Adri.

+find a few good summer reads.

+celebrate the Fourth of July (just around the corner)!

+take maternity pictures ( I really have to get on this one before it's too late!).

  2. Hi Rosie,

I'm a bit type A too, but have learned to relax and be spontaneous ( well somewhat anyway!) over the course of 29 years of marriage. It looks like you have a nice balanced approach to life to me. I'm enjoying your blog. Thank you!
